Air conditioning is easy to ignore while it works. Filters fill with dust, coils gather dirt, and the drain that carries condensation away slowly silts up — none of which announces itself until the system is struggling or leaking.
A service is an engineer going through the system properly: cleaning what should be clean, checking what should be checked, running it to see how it actually performs, and telling you about anything they find.
The price you see is based on what you tell us. If our engineer finds that more work or materials are needed, they will explain the cost and get your agreement before carrying on — nothing is added without you agreeing to it first.

Questions
Common questions
How much is an AC service?
£150. You see the price before giving us any personal details, and secure the appointment with a deposit that comes off the bill.
How long does a service take?
It depends on the system and how accessible the units are. Your engineer will tell you what they are doing as they go and let you know if anything needs longer.
Does the £150 cover repairs or parts?
No — it covers the service itself. If the engineer finds something that needs replacing or repairing, they explain what it is and what it would cost, and nothing else happens until you have agreed to it.
Will servicing stop my air conditioning breaking down?
It cannot rule that out, and we would not claim it does. What it does is keep the system clean and working as it should, and give an engineer the chance to spot a developing problem while it is still small.
How often should it be serviced?
Periodic professional servicing is generally recommended, but there is no single interval that fits every system. Follow your manufacturer's maintenance guidance for your particular unit alongside a professional service.
Do you need access to the outdoor unit?
Yes. Part of the service is inspecting and clearing the outdoor unit, so the engineer needs to be able to reach it safely. Let us know when you book if it is somewhere awkward.
