Electrical faults are worth taking seriously. A breaker that trips repeatedly, a socket that is warm to the touch, or a burning smell near a fitting are all signs of something that needs looking at rather than resetting and forgetting.
Tell us what is happening and when it started — an intermittent fault and a dead circuit are very different jobs.
The price you see is based on what you tell us. If our engineer finds that more work or materials are needed, they will explain the cost and get your agreement before carrying on — nothing is added without you agreeing to it first.

Questions
Common questions
My RCD keeps tripping. What causes it?
Usually a fault somewhere on the circuit, often in an appliance. Unplugging things one at a time and resetting can identify the culprit — if it trips with nothing plugged in, the fault is in the wiring.
A socket is warm. Is that dangerous?
It should be looked at promptly. Stop using it, and if there is any smell of burning, switch that circuit off at the consumer unit.
Can you find a fault without knowing where it is?
Yes — fault finding is part of the job. Telling us the symptoms helps narrow it down before the engineer arrives.
