Over years, rust and debris build up inside radiators and pipework as a black sludge. It settles in the bottom of radiators, restricts flow, and makes the boiler work harder to move water that is not circulating properly.
A power flush pushes water and cleaning chemicals through the system at pressure to shift it, then adds an inhibitor to slow it happening again.
The price you see is based on what you tell us. If our engineer finds that more work or materials are needed, they will explain the cost and get your agreement before carrying on — nothing is added without you agreeing to it first.

Questions
Common questions
How long does a power flush take?
Typically most of a day, depending on how many radiators there are and how bad the build-up is.
Cold at the bottom or cold at the top — what is the difference?
Cold at the bottom usually means sludge. Cold at the top usually means trapped air, which bleeding the radiator will often fix on its own.
Will it fix my radiators for good?
It clears what is there now. Adding an inhibitor slows it returning, but a system will build up again over years.
Do I need one before a new boiler?
Often yes. Fitting a new boiler to a system full of sludge shortens its life, and some manufacturers require the system to be cleaned for the warranty.
