New radiators fitted, old ones replaced, moved or repaired.

From £110 labour. You see your price before giving us any personal details.

An IOT Homes engineer working on a radiator valve
  • No call-out fee
  • Qualified professionals
  • 12-month workmanship guarantee
  • Emergency call-outs

Radiators get replaced because they have started leaking, because they are not big enough for the room, or because a room is being redecorated and the old one no longer fits the space.

What the job involves depends mostly on whether the new one goes where the old one was.

The price you see is based on what you tell us. If our engineer finds that more work or materials are needed, they will explain the cost and get your agreement before carrying on — nothing is added without you agreeing to it first.

Do you need this?

You might need this if

  • A radiator that leaks, or is rusting at the joints
  • A room that never gets warm enough
  • Cold patches that bleeding does not fix
  • Valves that have seized or will not shut off
  • Redecorating and the radiator no longer suits the room
  • Adding heating to a room that has none

Questions

Common questions

Can I move a radiator to another wall?

Usually, yes. It means altering pipework, so it is a longer job than a straight swap and the price reflects that.

My radiator is cold at the top. Do I need a new one?

Almost certainly not — that is trapped air, and bleeding it usually fixes it in minutes.

How many radiators can be done in a visit?

It depends on the work involved in each. Tell us how many when you book so the right amount of time is set aside.
