Will it work with my boiler?
Most modern boilers are compatible, but not all combinations are. Tell us your boiler make and the thermostat you have in mind when you book so we can confirm.
Do I need to buy the thermostat first?
Tell us when you book what you have or what you are planning to buy, and we will confirm before the visit.
Does it need wifi?
For remote control, yes — and it needs a reasonable signal where the thermostat is fitted. Without wifi it still works as an ordinary programmable thermostat.
Will it actually save money?
It depends entirely on how you use it. The saving comes from not heating an empty house, so the benefit is largest if your current heating runs on a fixed schedule regardless.
