Smart devices are easy to buy and frustrating to make work together. Lights on one app, a thermostat on another, a speaker that controls neither.

Setting up a home properly means getting devices onto one system where possible, and making the routines actually do what you want without needing your phone every time.

The price you see is based on what you tell us. If our engineer finds that more work or materials are needed, they will explain the cost and get your agreement before carrying on — nothing is added without you agreeing to it first.

Do you need this?

You might need this if

  • Smart devices bought but never fully set up
  • A different app for every device
  • Devices that keep dropping off the network
  • Wanting lights, heating and locks working together
  • Voice control that only half works

Questions

Common questions

Which systems do you work with?

Tell us what you have or are planning when you book, and we will confirm before the visit.

Do all my devices need to be the same brand?

No, though it is simpler when they are. Many devices from different makers can be brought into one system.

Will my wifi cope?

A lot of smart devices on an older router can be a problem. If devices keep dropping off, the network is usually the cause rather than the devices.
