Fitting a gas hob means cutting or preparing the worktop aperture where needed, connecting the appliance, and checking it burns correctly.
Like all gas work, it has to be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
The price you see is based on what you tell us. If our engineer finds that more work or materials are needed, they will explain the cost and get your agreement before carrying on — nothing is added without you agreeing to it first.

Questions
Common questions
Does the worktop need cutting?
Only if you are changing to a different size. A like-for-like replacement usually drops into the existing aperture.
My burners burn with a yellow flame. Is that a problem?
A healthy gas flame is blue. Yellow or orange can indicate incomplete combustion, which should be looked at.
Can you fit an induction hob instead?
That is electrical work rather than gas, and often needs a dedicated circuit. Ask us when you book.
